I had a shot of Glen Keenan's white Quadra this afternoon, and it might just be my imagination but it seeed to boost quicker than my 2wd :?: i thought Quadra's where slightly slower on acceleration due to being 4wd, i dont know if his engine being "looser" than mine (iv only done 12000miles on new engine) makes a difference :?: :?: or the fact he had a huge pipercross filter makes a difference, does anybody know why ??????? but for the 10 mins we flew along the motorway in the 2 21t's was f@@kin brilliant ......................................God i love ma 21t :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I have ph3 front wheel drive and a Quadra with similar mods and the 2wd is definitely quicker - in the dry. 4 wheeldrive substantially increases transmission losses and there is also a considerable weight penalty. I reckon a Quadra needs 25 bhp more than a 2wd to stay on level terms when traction isn't a consideration.

Was speaking Glen last night, he sold this Quadra to some young bloke back in December i think it was, and he said that its now off the road as the chap just thrashed it to bits and has cracked the cylinder head on it :x when i had a shot the engine sounded and pulled great aswell, damn shame, so thats another Quadra goosed :(

I think this used to be BIG MVS's car once if anybody know's it (its white)
