If you get a mail similar to this DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY.

eBay WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO INPUT YOUR PASSWORD. Its an attempt to hack your account for purposes of abuse.

I had a similar one from Yahoo as well, well a mail sayin git was from yahoo and checking the accounts and to click on a link, dont click on anything you are not 100% sure off :D

had that one too ,, forward the email to spoof@ebay.com

it can help them track down the sad gits trying to rob us......

i had something like that too from ebay. It even took me to what looked just like the ebay site and asked me to confirm all my details!

I wonder if they managed to log on as buggs_bunny_takes_it_in_the_ass with the password of lick_my_balls

I must admit, the trouble these guys go too is un-real. just imagine what they could achive if they put all the effort into something good, instaed of being knob munching hommos.

Like a complete blonde head I fell for that big time :oops: but quickly realised via a friend, cancelled my Visa Card and change all passwords/details/pin's etc that I used :oops: . Reported it to Ebay and yes it was a spoof email :evil: but they didn't get a chance to use any of it...phew.


Won't do that again..........a lesson learnt!! :roll:
