WOW, show us some pics of the engine bay when ya can, thats amazing, most original 21 ive seen. Ya gotta give a spec of it as well. :shock:

I Admire a man brave enough to go blatant 2-tone mate, and the V6 is just totally bling :D bet it sounds well nice!

Cant wait to meet you and your car- bet you have no hair left from the install though.
How much did you have to hack off the bulkhead to get the turbo to fit? I know you aint gonna tell me it went in with no mods..... :shock:

im waiting for my new cams and hopefully the stand alone ecu will be ready the start of next year some time,so with new injectors, cams and ecu im looking at around 320bhp@1.2bar boost. apparently the cams are what let the engine down they have a low duration(226 degrees and the new are 270) and the overlap is only 16 degrees,so that should be interesting!

Jesus, 226 degree cam? Thats poor! The J7R752 has 255 as std, upping from that to a 270 made one HELL of a difference so god only knows what yours will be like. Never been in a 21T that revved like my 270 cammed one, when I build my-no- THE engine i'll be going bigger though :wink:

I May have found someone that could help with your cutoff problem, would you like me to investigate and see if the cutoff can be removed?

Dave my head gasket will be shortly getting done, could you recommend a cam that would suit the engine to run with that T4 turbo?

May as well change the cam whilst the heads off cos the powerband has shifted drastically higher and that pissy standard cam can't be helping things.

I Can spec you a packet of tunes to 'help it breathe more easily' LOL, A hit of billy whizz so it seems a bit sleepy to start and then hits a nice powerband about 3200 or a double coke-hit with heroin chaser that does shag all till 3500+ and then totally screams to the limiter, although this would cause fuelling issues at lower rpm cos its so damn rude :twisted:
