Im going to keep a log of all the work I have to do before my first trackday at the end of March.

Why?

Because I can.

I'll start taking pictures soon but the first step is done... the first thing on my list to sort was a nasty droning noise coming from the front when turning left... it started doing it when driving in a straight line as well so last thursday a mate and I whipped the hub etc off and replaced the N/S/F wheel bearing. Unfortunately, the noise continued on the way home. Not happy.

After a pint and a think i remember overtightening one of the turbo elbow to downpipe bolts when i recently replaced my turbo... sure enough the downpipe was shifting and rubbing on the subframe.

One problem down... plenty more to go...

Next weekend: Front lowering springs

Trying to do some little jobs in the meantime... I've now fitted my new (second hand) water pipe (bleed nipple double pipe to heater matrix and header tank). Bled the system, and water level hasnt dropped at all.. no sign of a leaking nipple either (previous problem) so thats nice

Cars booked in for a front bumper respray and rear bumper filling in of exhaust recess and respray in acouple of weeks.... right after the new clutch goes in...

Thanks to Jon as well who's sorting me out with a spare set of phase 2 alloys for the cut slicks... anyone got any ideas for colour? Or shall i leave them as is?

It helps having a mate who works for a MASSIVE bodyshop with more ramps than cars

Put her in the air today and had a prod about... new fuel filter on the list after my mates colleague took me to GSF in his 700bhp pulsar.. yeah it was alright lol

Fuel filter on and lots of petrol all over me.. FUN.

Strapped back the exhaust which has been knocking and rubbing.

I may well attempt the rear calipers today depending on how i feel after i get back from the pub... if not i'll attack them tomorrow.
