Hi, im new here, and have only had a r21t for just over 1 week. I will be joining up very shortly, hopeing to find out a thing or two about this beast
15th of august is another rwyb day, so anyone is welcome. Ill be going in my standard phs1 (Ereg White), just seeing if anyothers can make it as id love to see them run. A few peugeot's and citroens are coming from my area aswell, including my brothers 205mi16. He has ran 14.7 @ 96 in his car, id just love for someone to beat him, as i dont think my car can ( tho moving from about 30mph theres nothing in it ).

Anyone know how i can squeze abit more power/torque from my car before then, and hopefuly run a decent time.
a standard one should run just into the 15s at a guess?

So can anyone else make it?
Thanks
Andy

I'll be there but I'm not sure I'll be running my quadra!!
Mid 14s aren't that hard to get, it just needs a strong engine and a few mods  :D

LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN THE CLUB. THERES MUCH YOU COULD LEARN. WAN'T TO BEAT YOUR MATE. . EASY . FIT A BLEED VALVE AND GET THE BOOST UP TO ( 16 PSI ) "NO MORE" AND GET A BETTER FILTER FOR THE INDUCTION. TOTAL COST ON MORE THAN ?50 . THE STANDARD PH1 RUN'S 15.3 / 0 - 60 7.3 AND 143 MPH. GET A GOOD START WITH THESE TWO MOD'S AND YOUR MATE IS BEAT. . Andie Frederick. ( mem 138 ).

hi, thanks for your replys.
Ill have a bleed valve by then, doubt ill have changed the induction tho.
15.3 standard seems much quicker than i thought, we'll have to see what happens
Can you make it there on the 15th?
Thanks
Andy

most important, and it hasnt been mentioned yet, fit a proper boost gauge, if you dont you will be asking for trouble. most people say you can run 16psi safley, there is no safe, but as long as you have a good engine you will be ok. personally I ran 18 psi for quite a while with no probs and no mods, but now ive begun moding it, i run 20-21 psi, that along with the mods i have fitted has enabled me to obtain the fastest 21 turbo without nos record, and at 13.6 sec 1/4 mile im not far off the fastest. i ran at pod recently, and its an incredible rush beating loads of cars, but u must do the mods to make your car safe at higher boosts. i would love to come up on that day, but i cannot as i have work commitments. but have a good time anyway. if you need anymore help, please feel free to contact me.

Craige . 4 years ago my white ph1 was running low 13's, I was'nt happy. why do you think i built the TTR. One of my best friends is running high 12's and two more running 13.2 and 13.6. keeping up with them was never a problem, but the traction off the line "was". :( . I'm trying to correct that.

sh*t, someones moved the goalposts again, lol. so what is the time i have to beat, i always thought trevs 13.2 sec was the fastest. like you taction is my problem, was thinking of getting a quadra, but ive gone this far without one, im going to carry on. dave i thought u said trevs was the fastest time????? ah well, do i strap the nos on now. mmmmmm
craig.
ps. andie, when we going to see the ttr on the strip?
looking forward to seeing it.

CRAIG . THE OTHER TIMES THAT I HAVE QUOTED WERE NOT 21'S THEY BELONG TO A 12.8 SEC, JAP SPEC, WRX. AND THE OTHER TWO ARE SKYLINES. SORRY FOR THE MISUNDERSTANDING , I JUST WAN'T TO KEEP UP WITH MY MATES AND AS YOU KNOW THATS NOT EASY. " BUT " THEIR ALWAYS SURPRISED BY THE 21. :) THATS A GREAT 1/4 YOU'VE RUN. I WOULD BE WELL PROUD WITH THAT. WHAT WAS YOUR LAPSE TIME BEFORE TAKEOFF AND AT WHAT REV'S DID YOU LET THE CLUTCH UP; AGAIN - " WELL DONE " AND IM SURE THATS FROM ALL OF US. ANDIE.

sorry andie, 1 day i will learn to read, one day m8 we will get our cars to beat them :D . my reaction time was just under 0.4 of a sec. I respect what you have done to your car, I spoke to lyn 6 mths ago about twin turbo's, and he told me about yourself, well done. I am planning to go a slightly different route if funds allow in the winter, again like your car it will be a first. But first got to sort the traction prob.
see you soon.
