View Full Version : Can I install carbs on '91 R21 2.0i-12v

Hello everybody! I am a Bulgarian Renault beginner and I have '91 R21 2.0i-12v, 136hp. I want to remove the fuel injection system and install a carbs.Can anyone tell me please what kind of dual racing carbs I have to choose, to reach 160 hp. I have a mind to increase the compression ratio from 9,3 to 10,0-is this a good idea? Thank you in advance!

Yes, I can supply cast inlet manifolds for the 12v to fit twin 40mm webers.

On their own, maybe 10bhp. With the standard cam they dont really need it. You want to make the engine breath alot harder by using a higher lift, longer duration cam, and then raising the compression
