What it looses on top speed it will easily gain on bends dude so you dont stand a cat in hells chance sunshine!!!
....oh & dont forget the throttle bodies that are eagerly awaiting being fitted - that should soon sort out the straight line speed thank you please! LOL!
....oh and just to add......whilst yours will manage about 10 laps before getting far too hot under the collar.....mine will quite happily run & run & run until its time to come in for petrol - quick fill up & then back out again whilst you're still waiting for yours to cool down!!!

....and there's out achilles heel. The rather small hillclimb tank see's about five laps of brunters before it's gasping for a topup LOL

But the megane have better aerodynamics.. I've been up to 225km/h in my old 19 16v on the clocks as well.. The clio just isn't made to go fast in a straight line.. It's amazing in the twisties tho.. I know a fair few 5's and clio's that have beaten porches and subarus wrx etc on cone-slaloms, just because of less weight and superb handling..
So yes.. you would probably struggle to hit that, but find a bend and you'll leave him in the dust :axe:
