Hi! I own a 21 gts 1.7 and my gearbox is off. I want to change the whole engine now and I don't know which one to use. Which one fits without many changes? The txi one or the 1.8 16v from the clio? Or anything else that you have in mind? Thanks!

You can use 1.8 16V engine from the clio 16v or R19 16V. You must see this pictures: www.renault-tuning.com/viewtopic.php?t=14479&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=560
Good luck:)

The brakes are not strong enough, you should assemble bigger radiator (from a R21 TXI or Turbo). I assebled rear shock absorbers from r21 nevada, but they are too long (a car looks funny - too high), the turbo ones are better choice (you should ask somebody if they suit to the 1.7 car). In the front I assemble a R21 turbo springs, but the car is now too high!

Hi again. I found this item not in ebay though:

Do you know if it fits in my car and how I can make the screen work with my car? They told me that it needs a special fuel floater to work. Do you know if it possible to assemble this to my tank?

I don't know:)Maybe it's possible. It looks like the one from R21. Do you have bord computer in your R21? If you don't have it, this one won't work in your car.

I don't have one. I know that it has to do with what it meters the remaining fuel in the fuel tank and the fuel consumption. The new engine had a board computer, it is from a 19, but my car has not the thing that says exactly how much of the fuel is remaing in the tank. Any ideas if I can make it work?
